    Working with Larry Kaprielian and Josh Randall at KNA Consulting Engineers Mark Scambray has created a hardware specification note (PDF | CAD) that can be used by all engineers, architects and designers to ensure competition within the hardware business on all wood framed buildings. “This note is exactly what the contactors and building departments are looking for. This note allows the contractor to choose between at least two hardware suppliers without the risk of building department rejection”, says Scambray.
